Gold Seal Cape Scholarship (GSC):

No GPA requirement
Completion of 30 service hours or 100 paid work hours
Completion of 5 CAPE post-secondary credit hours
No required ACT®/SAT® score

Gold Seal Vocational Scholarship (GSV):

Minimum 3.00 weighted GPA in non-elective courses
Minimum 3.5 unweighted GPA in career education courses
Completion of 3 full credits in a single Career and Technical Education program
Completion of 30 service hours or 100 paid work hours
No required courses
Attainment of minimum ACT®/SAT® or P.E.R.T. exam score by June 30th of the high school graduation year

General Eligibility Requirements:

To be eligible for the Florida Bright Futures Scholarship, applicants must:

Be a Florida resident and a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen

Complete the Florida Financial Aid Application (FFAA) by August 31 after high school graduation
Obtain a standard Florida high school diploma or its equivalent from a Florida public high school, registered Florida Department of Education (FDOE) private high school, or complete a home education program.

Not have a felony charge, unless granted clemency by the Governor and Cabinet sitting as the Executive Office of Clemency

Be accepted and enrolled in a degree or certificate program at an eligible Florida public or independent postsecondary institution

Enroll for at least six non-remedial semester credit hours (or equivalent) per term.
